Share my theory here: MM isn't over his brothers death.From the beard which his brother always wore too the almost dead look most games smacks of a guy who's heart isn't in it. He decides to then walk away from play calling and give Edgar and Clements the responsibility for game planning and play calling respectively.

Frankly he 's not emotionally vested right now. Add in a young FB team that plays hot/cold at a moments notice. Very common in all levels of the game. But it takes a strong leader to refocus that team.

Add in Rodgers is banged up and way way off his game. OL has every starter hurt with crap for depth. Adams gets shit on but he is playing with a high ankle and knee sprain. Has to be getting shot up. Cobb is still in a harness and isn't 100%. Abby and Monty also banged up.

That's a hell of a lot to overcome with 2 RB and a few meh TE on O. Put all this together and you get a recipe for a mess. Which we got.
