“We’re not playing to the standard that we all believe in, so the coaching staff, we need to get our players playing at a higher level consistently in the area of fundamentals,” Mike McCarthy said. “That’s what we’re really focused on.”

Why have you and your staff allowed fundamentals slide?
Fundamentals should be stressed from day one and reinforced daily throughout a players career.

At minimum, it should mean that Aaron needs to get back to using proper footwork and mechanics, going through his reads and delivering the ball to the intended receiver if open, on a rhythm.

To me, the trust they spoke of provides more to interpret. AR trusting the offense? AR trusting his receivers. AR being ABLE to trust numbnuts like Janis to run a route or RR to actually try to get off the line? That's still a vague term, but based on other things we've read and seen, I think it sheds more light to what the coaches view as the issues.
