Aaron Rodgers told Peter King that he desperately wants to be coached .

Mike McCarthy and staff are alleged quarterback guru's and yet look at Rodgers footwork. I'm not talking about when he's running for his life. I'm talking about when you, me, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles see he has room to plant his foot and step into a throw and still does that annoying hop/toss garbage.

So I have to wonder aloud, if McCarthy is a great quarterback coach -- and I think he's done wonders with Rodgers -- and Rodgers desperately wants to be coached, why the hell isn't anyone coaching his footwork?

Part of Rodgers being defensive when Jason Wilde asked why he's so off target lately. Jason, it's simple, it's his damn footwork!!

This comes off to me like he's not being held accountable. How can you think everything is fine with how the team has played? Someone needs to coach our quarterback without wearing glass slippers.

Make no mistake about it, the offensive line is playing atrociously the last ~4 games and is doing Rodgers no favors. That said, there are plenty of times where Rodgers could run for positive yards and throws it awkwardly and it's a very poor pass.

Separately, maybe not being worried is part of the problem. Overconfidence is worse than no confidence.

As for the general content of your post, I don't get it either. At times he can't seem to hit a wall even if he's leaning against it. We've never seen him like this before and I have no clue why or what the problems are. I can't imagine Clements et al ignoring what's going on with him.

Maybe it's a sign that having your QB coach split time as the WR coach isn't a good idea?

The sky is not falling, but why can't he show some humility and acknowledge he needs to work on his footwork and/or fundamentals? It's one thing to be confident, but to ignore what even average folks are witnessing is just arrogance.

Rodgers is too damn gifted, too damn talented and too intelligent to continue playing like this. I guess what I'm saying is ...

Agreed though, I too have been saying what we're all seeing - he is off right now. Off memory, this is the worst stretch of football we've ever seen him play.

That's why I rarely even pay attention to athletic press conferences. For the most part, they are useless and most read far too much in them. Especially when concerned Ted Thompson and the Packers.

Anyone else notice yesterday that everytime they show Rodgers on the sideline he was standing alone? I thought it was weird with no emotion. Then you watch Brady and he is always pumping up his team. I am starting to wonder if Rodgers is pouting because he is not getting the calls he wants so he will make it fail until he gets his way. I believe it is official Mr. Rodgers has become the big diva.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

He's just not one to show a ton of emotion regardless of successes or failure. I'm the same way. It is what it is. I don't outwardly express super highs or super lows. That's Rodgers personality. It always has been, and always will be. It's who he is. I really don't think he's acting like a "big diva" like many are putting it. I just think he is not playing well and is frustrating. Chances are when the Packers are having success again, Rodgers will be acting the same way and no one will care because the Packers are winning. It always comes down to winning, and winning cures everything. Losing just exposes things that have always been there.
