Our defense wasn't bad today, but man, our offense sucked.
And take away that kick return, and we get a win.
But we "earned" a loss.
At home against a bad team and we lose.
I think it's over for this season.
I haven't seen anything in the last month to believe otherwise.
Very sad.

I know pre-season is pre-season, but all I saw was Janis scoring touchdowns. Dumb or not, he does good things when he's put on the field.

James Jones isn't gonna do shit unless they're in the redzone. Put Janis in.

I would put the entire defense in the glass half full. Seriously, they played about as well as anyone could have asked. A couple of missed tackles but that happens to *almost every* player in the league.

*Okay, EVERY player NOT defending Richard Rodgers. 🤣

Hayward can't cover anybody and Shields & Burnett can't tackle. Palmer & Hyde are two "mistery" players, nobody knows why they see the field on defense. Can Ryan or Banjo be really worst than them? I think that's impossible.

I'm still looking for an explanation of what Janis did in that kickoff. I see him running towards the endzone without doing anything I really think he might believe that's how a kick coverage team works.

I look at that other TD as deriving from the long kickoff return. I don't put that on the D. It would have been commendable had they held, but I don't expect that.

In fact, Peppers had the guy covered, but he slipped on that shitty assed fieldturf.
