The word you are looking for is fear.

Fear of calling a trick play and being embarrased.
Fear of going for it in 4th and 7 down by 19.
Fear of changing the vanilla plays and losing.
Fear of being intercepted.
Fear of fumbling.
Fear of calling a fake or a new play in STs.
Fear of using new formations.

Fear leads to the dark side.

I don't know if they need to get creative, rather get basic. this offense is suppose to come from the West Coast Offense? Where are any of the West Coast offense staples?

Agreed. He had happy feet in the pocket too. Looked like Matt Cassel back there. This was easily the worst game I have ever seen him play.

I place more blame on offensive line. Those guys are very overrated and just continually lost ground to Denver's defensive line.

If the OL is not going to give Rodgers enough time for his WR do execute double moves, then he needs to hit guys in the flat or on drags. Rodgers has a wicked pump fake and if he can time it with his WR on a curl pump fake double move to an out or down the seam, the CB (50/50) will bite and it'll be a big play. I can't recall Rodgers trying a pump fake nearly as much this season as last season.

A flag route from next to the TE is where I think Jeff Janis could open things up underneath because of his speed. If Janis gets behind his guy, all Rodgers has to do is lead him and let Janis do the rest.

Here's an image that shows WR route tree which saves me from drawing it myself. :D

Check that out. Over a week later and someone in the media has picked up on the same thing we did and I mentioned in the opening post.

The more you look at them, the more you see how unhelpful Green Bay’s route concepts are for Rodgers

Even something as simple as using him as a decoy.
Somebody would have to cover him deep, and if they don't, we have all seen him be able to catch the ball and score touchdowns.
