Care to point out some of those occasions? Again, I go back to the point that Aaron Rodgers was rattled by the constant pressure and hits he took. That's going to happen to any quarterback. It's the secret to dismantling an elite QB. The same is true for Tom Brady. That's why protection of the QB is paramount. Once a QB takes some big hits and is rattled, the mistakes snowball. I don't think any QB would have played well for the Packers last night. Give Aaron Rodgers some proper protection and he'll make some things happen.

Great QBs are supposed to be able to throw WR open, are supposed to see what the defense is doing and get to the plays to beat them.

If it is taking to long for a WR to get open, than it is Rodgers job to make sure the plays being called include quick hitters to beat the pressure. There are plays and routes designed to combat pressure. Screens, draw runs, roll outs

either Rodgers isn't as great as everybody wants to believe and doesn't have the control or power over the offense as he is given credit for, or it is his blame to take.

That's not really the debate. He can't do it alone, which is why he needs better protection, better play calling and schemes, a better defense, and better coaching. That's been the case for several years now.

I accept Rodgers weaknesses. But I also realize he's plenty good enough to win a few more Super Bowls but not without more help which he currently isn't getting from the rest of the team and coaching staff.

And it looks like defenses have caught on to that tendency.

something needs to be changed up or once again this year when the competition gets stiff, we will end up watching the SB with two other teams playing.

So if there is some issue, it's up to the coaches to work with Rodgers to correct the issues. They can't just let him make the same mistakes over and over. They have to do something to get him back on track. Aaron needs to be receptive to the coaching and make the adjustments to his game accordingly.

Frankly, I'm thinking the game next week against the Panthers will yield similar results. They have a very good defense that will likely bully the Packers offense once again.

To me, it's not a strategic matter of X's and Os. If anything, they out-think themselves and cause paralysis through over analysis.

They need a sports psychologist to get them emotionally ready to play football.

Aaron wasn't playing like the surgeon of a pocket passer that Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are. Instead he kept on relying on his athleticism to make plays.

Aaron is so reliant on this, he pisses on the route tree and waits for his receivers to get open, which has now become the most predictable thing the Packers offense do. All the DB's have to do is stay in close proximity of the WR's and Rodgers won't dare throw their direction.

Flea Flickers, screens, etc. don't have much chance because teams don't need to blitz. Our O Line is so bad that just 3 or 4 rushers raise havoc - no time at all for things to develop, and pass defense so loaded up it sometimes seems like they have about 15 men on the field.

They're not respecting us deep. If we hand it to Lacy, they will converge.

If they run Starks/Lacy into the flat and hit him on a screen, a LB has to follow him, which removes a defender from the middle which could make a bigger hole for Cobb crossing the middle, or pull defense out of position allowing for a TE to sneak out the other way.

I'm with Tex here.
The O-line is the problem and in particular the tackle play.
The defenses are beating the tackles like a drum.
After watching Carolina's perimeter pass rush last night I don't see things going well for our offense against them.
The Packer's crack coaching staff had better "scheme" something or it's going to be another long painful game for Aaron Rodgers.
