Per a league source, the Jets already are making calls during Sunday’s game against the Raiders in search of available quarterbacks, either via trade or free agency.

If the Packers could get anything around a 4th or 5th rounder for Tolzien, they should absolutely do it. They'd be crazy not too. Matt Flynn is still available, and Hundley could get it done for a game or so. I have no idea why anyone would give up that kind of pick for him though. I seriously doubt anyone would. Maybe a 7th, but that wouldn't really be worth it for the Packers.

If 49ers GM (Trent Baalke) and offensive coordinator (Geep Chryst) remember and liked/like Scott Tolizen, I would see them as the most likely team to trade for Tolizen... as Tolizen played pretty well for Paul Chryst (Geep's brother) at Wisconsin and then was brought in for training camp while Baalke was GM and then spent three training camps with the 49ers while Geep Chryst was the QB coach there.

But I'm guessing the Packers stick with a vet that knows the offense very well over a rookie, but that's just my guess.
