Ok. The Pack are 5-0. Face it, they will roll on Sunday. 6 and 0

Where is the excitement in that? Where is the edgy feeling, the worry that keeps one up while trying to fall asleep on Saturday night?

Admit it.. It is a fucking bore. It is like watching the weather channel give details of the sunny Sunday ahead. There is ZERO excitement in knowing what is coming and Aaron is going to win the game with conviction. It is far more rewarding to expect rain and wake up to sunshine.

The Packers need to lose two in a row. It would be great theatre for the press, and great reading for the fans. Hell, it would be perfect for this forum.

Lets make it a fantastic finish on the last weekend of the season to see who wins the NFC NORTH.

I feel ya RP.

So tired of actually having to look at the schedule every week to see when The Packers are playing.

The good ole days everyone knew that the game would be at noon on Sundays.

Unless of course they were playing on the West Coast.

There was always that rare Monday Night appearance, but for those of us living outside of Wisonsin, it was the one time a year that we got to see them

Yep, the good old days, When a victory over The Bears would make a successful season.

Those 5 wins have been far from easy and without stress. It seems when the Mortal Combat voice tells us to "Finish Them" we decide to dance a jig.

Will the Packers roll? On paper they should, because their OL is very hurt. If they had all their starters, this would be a dog fight. But they still have to play the game. When you are at the mall during the game, go get some caramel popcorn.

It'd be refreshing to see them start putting inferior teams away for a change.

Everyone's just sort of happy and nice about the team. Where's the fun in that?

While I do sense a bit of sarcasm emanating from this thread, in all seriousness, I sometimes wonder if a lot of casual and younger Packers fans take what we've had for granted. This franchise could easily have been where Detroit and Buffalo are now struggling to bring back a winning culture. Hell look at where Denver and Miami are now. Had two franchise QB's that carried them through most of the 80's and 90's and then both retired around the same time and both franchises have struggled to find any long term answer since. Peyton being the exception in Denver since he came in as a FA, but he's been in the twilight of his career and you can tell he's not the QB he was even three or four years ago. But before Peyton even got there, they jumped from Plummer, to Cutler, to Tebow. Miami jumped from Fiedler, to Culpepper, to Henne, to now Tannehill whom has still been having an inconsistent career to date. That could have very easily been Green Bay had Rodgers not turned into the Top 3 QB he is now. It's hard enough to find a franchise QB that can be your starter for 10+ years, but it can be even more difficult to find his replacement once he does retire.

It wasn't too long ago where this franchise was considered NFL Siberia after the Lombardi era and struggled to even get close to 10 wins a season back in 70's and 80's. Especially during Starr's time as head coach. Talented but flawed rosters that could just never get over the hump. Being a young Packer fan in the 80's growing up and watching all my friends bandwagon teams like the 49ers and Giants. I was happy when we finally beat the damn Bears let alone even dream of this team making the playoffs. That's why it was so important now that Wolf, Holmgren, Favre, and Reggie all were integral pieces of changing this franchise's fortunes in the 90's. Even though they only won one Super Bowl, at worst, you know they were going to field a competitive team most years that would challenge for the playoffs and division year in and year out. You didn't have that back during the 70's and 80's and why I do not take this winning for granted. If we're damn lucky enough once Rodgers is ready to retire and strike draft gold again like we did in 2005, all the better, but we could very easily be in store for some lean years if it takes awhile for this team to find another franchise QB.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
Mucky Tundra (19-Jun) : One person on Twitter=cannon law
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : Well, to ONE person on Tweeter
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : According to Tweeter
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : Packers are working on extension for LT Walker they hope to have done before camp

dfosterf (18-Jun) : 101 in a 60
dfosterf (18-Jun) : FAFO
Zero2Cool (18-Jun) : one year $4m with incentives to make it up to $6m
dfosterf (18-Jun) : Or Lions
dfosterf (18-Jun) : Beats the hell out of a Vikings signing
Zero2Cool (18-Jun) : Baltimore Ravens now have signed former Packers CB Jaire Alexander.
dfosterf (14-Jun) : TWO magnificent strikes for touchdowns. Lose the pennstate semigeezer non nfl backup
dfosterf (14-Jun) : There was minicamp Thursday. My man Taylor Engersma threw
dfosterf (11-Jun) : There will be a mini camp practice Thursday.
Zero2Cool (11-Jun) : He's been sporting a ring for a while now. It's probably Madonna.
Martha Careful (10-Jun) : We only do the tea before whoopee, it relaxes me.
wpr (10-Jun) : That's awesome Martha.
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : How's the ayahuasca tea he makes, Martha?
Martha Careful (10-Jun) : Turns out he like older women
Martha Careful (10-Jun) : I wasn't supposed to say anything, but yes the word is out and we are happy 😂😂😂
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : I might be late on this but Aaron Rodgers is now married
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : Well he can always ask his brother for pointers
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : Bo Melton taking some reps at CB as well as WR
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : key transactions coming today at 3pm that will consume more cap in 2025
Zero2Cool (9-Jun) : Jaire played in just 34 of a possible 68 games since the start of the 2021 season
Zero2Cool (9-Jun) : reported, but not expected to practice
Zero2Cool (9-Jun) : Jenkins has REPORTED for mandatory camp
Zero2Cool (9-Jun) : I really thought he'd play for Packers.
buckeyepackfan (9-Jun) : Packers releasing Jaire Alexander.
