This guy is a player ! Nate Palmer is impressing IMO at ILB. I believe he may have earned the starting slot. As good as he has been playing, he seems to getting even better each week. At a boy Nate !

Palmer is doing OK. I liked what I saw in Barrington more before he went down though. Playing beside Clay Matthews makes it a helluva lot easier to look good.

Barrington looked better in run support but Palmer has looked much better in pass coverage. I'll take the pass coverage if I had to choose. It would be nice to be able to rotate the two though. Ultimately, I think Palmer is the better ILB though. He's already as good as Barrington and appears to be consistently improving, which is expected considering he is new to the position.

So we have outside linebackers playing inside linebacker, 4-3 defensive ends playing outside linebacker, 43 defensive tackles playing DE, and draft safeties to play corner. What a mess! Dick Lebeau would never take the Packers job. Why are we running a 3-4 defense again?
