It was a great day for them too - the Cowboys, I mean.

I remember commenting early in that game that if Romo went down, it might actually hurt them more than if Aaron Rodgers went down for the Packers - given the quality performance in preseason of Tolzien and Hundley. However, Romo did go down, and against all odds, the back up, Weeden, came through about ten times better than he did in the preseason or the past in general. Hopefully that will continue. I wonder if the Cowboys will pick up Tebow. They need to get somebody as a back up to Weeden, and I really would take Tebow.

Jerry Jones's O Line really came through, and their D really rubbed Murray and the Eagles' noses in it by comparison.

You wanna know what I think about Cowboys? You don't wanna know? Too freaking bad!

PHUCK THE COWBOYS! PHUCK JERRY JONES! PHUCK'EM ALL! I would like them to finish 2 - 14, but I don't want them picking high in each round. That is the struggle within my friend, huge struggle within!!!

Alas, PHUCK THE COWBOYS trumps it all!!!

From a Cowboys perspective, I HOPE they don't get Flynn. I read an article about possible back ups including both of those guys as well as Orton, even including Kitna (who must be mid-40s now) and Vince Young. The wildest idea though - that Jerry Jones just might go for would be Robert Griffin. I think they just elevate Kellen Moore from their practice squad though.

They just traded for Matt Cassel. They could still sign Tebow if they need someone to hand Cassel a towel.

The ONLY way the Cowboys would be my "distant" second favorite team was if they were located about 20 miles straight EAST of Green Bay.

Dallas is still a rather good football team. With that offensive line and defence, they're still in pretty good shape to sneak into the play-offs, regardless of their QB situation. Even after that collapse against the Falcons. Without Romo, they're a lot like the Chiefs or the Cardinals last year. They should grind it out and hope Weeden doesn't throw it to the wrong colored jerseys.

I'm more shocked by how unprepared they were for a potential injury. Romo goes down and all of a sudden they're essentially trading a 5th for a guy like Cassel, promoting a guy like Moore (who's never looked like he belonged on a 53-roster) from the practice squad... It all looked very panicky.

Look at how unprepared the Packers were recently when Rodgers went down. Can't blame the Cowboys for the same unpreparedness.
It happens.
