He just signed Rajon Neal to practice squad strangely after finding out Lacy is hobbled.

Offering Richardson 2.55M made absolutely no sense for Oakland.

Is he bitter about something or is he just fixated on beating GB at something.

Glass half empty: McKenzie wanted Thompson's job and he will do anything he can to make Thompson fail and proof we were wrong, so Lazy went down he tries to snatch Neal.

Anyway he must be going insane after letting James Jones go and seeing how he plays for us.

I think the raiders are as funny as the Vikings, they want to be like the Packers but they have no class...

Raijon Neal is still available. If the Packers, Raiders, Vikings, or any team wants him on their 53 man roster, they make him an offer, and he probably accepts. He wants to play in the NFL. He is too talented to not at least be on a practice squad.

The only teams restricted from signing a PS player from another team are the immediate scheduled opponents. And if you sign a PS player from another team it is a minimum 3 week contract for the player.

But, I'm still angry over McKenzie costing us 1M of our cap for no reason over Richardson.

Either way, $2.55 million for Richardson as your 3rd Safety is a bit much, but to be a starting Safety, it's a great one year prove it deal. Not to mention he's a solid Special Teams player and the Packers elected not to re-sign Jarrett Bush is about six years older than Richardson and no where near as physical of a run stopper.

He can't change direction with WRs, so he's not gonna start. But the Packers need that role player. They might have another one in Gunter, but he's not ready. Looks like Palmer can get it done too now, but we didn't know about these options at the time.
