thanks for that. I did hear that he "may get fired", probably about two weeks ago. So, I was wrong. and you were right.

I wonder whether people are signing on here specifically to work with Dom Capers. I understand that he has a very magnetic personality. Right now, GB can use all the help they can get attracting football people to want to work for the Packers.

I touched on this in another thread, but i'll add it here...

There seems to be a buzz about how Green Bay does business, ever since Capers was hired. Now, we end up with a former DC (a successful one, i might add) coaching our d-line. Talk of Darren Perry, a very well-respected and successful coach, coming from a talented Oakland secondary squad to be our secondary coach. To say I'm thrilled is an understatement.

I wonder how much the hiring of Dom Capers influenced these coaches to want to work in Green Bay. From the past several years and the perception that Green Bay is kind of a black-hole, this positive publicity is awesome and i'm glad we have it spinning in our direction. Maybe, hopefully, it carries into free agency. Yay Dom Capers. I think we have him to thank for the newfound respect for the Packers organization, and the coaching in general.

haha it seemed like a couple weeks ago people were getting worried about us missing out on all of the coaching talent and having to go with the "bottom of the barrel" leftovers.

How do you pronounce this Trgovak guy's name? Can some one do one of those things where you go (Tro-vak)? I don't know if that's how you pronounce it but oh well.

The coaching staff is starting to take shape and I must say it looks very good. Whether or not the move is to entice Julius Peppers remains to be seen, but it can't hurt in having two established coordinators on your coaching staff and that the Packers have.

Well if Peppers didn't have confidence in Trgovak then I seriously doubt he'll want to come here.
