The mayor seems to be somewhat serious.

This is quite a weird idea though. Most likely the Chicago people would remain Bears fan anyway, since they've grown up with them.

Maybe it's a good idea for the fairweather fans they have there.....

Haha, this is one of those great moments that I am proud to be a Green Bay Packers fan.
I am actually in the process of making fun of my cousin right now who constantly calls me a homo for being a Green Bay fan living in Chicago.

No comeback to this!
