I am so tired of hearing about this ceiling crap or the potential shit. What is so great about Janis on special teams? Did you not watch when they had him back returning punts against Pittsburgh? I struggled badly, hell he completely whiffed on a punt he was trying to catch, also i didn't see him doing anything special on tackling. As far as a wr he is complete garbage as was stated by many including media that he is limited on his knowledge of routes. Basically we just kept a Mike Wallace/Devin Hester receiver over a Wes Welker/Jullian Edleman type of receiver.

I guess it don't really matter much as we are going to be struggling alot this year and this gives us an easy fallback. Our Defense sucks along with Special Teams so get ready for 2008 season all over again. We have a coach and GM that doesn't understand the concept of Defense wins Championships not a good offense with no defense.

I know this thread is about white and JJ ...

Im on vacation here and reading how JJ is back on the team really made my week. Feel a lot better knowing he is back to help with the loss of jordy.

I always liked JJ and was sad when we didnt resign him.

Great to see him back with his old #89 too!

I don't get it....why all the hate for Jones? He did a good job here. Yes, he had some drops, but NO ONE is perfect. He went where he thought he could make more money. Can't blame him for that.
And if he's willing to help the team out now, welcome him back with open arms.
That's how I see it, at least.
He knows the system, and AR knows him.

I do find it odd that neither the Raiders nor the Giants couldn't find a place for him, though. Neither team was paying him that much, especially the Giants. If he was truly still a good WR, you would think at least one team would have found a spot for him despite all of the other factors (special teams, money, etc.). Maybe both teams feel as if they won't be serious super bowl contenders anyway, so why not go with younger guys that can play special teams?

Either way, very little downside to this signing for the Packers. There will always be a dozen other Myles White's to sign if need be, likely including White himself.

This is a God damned shame. A good young player who earned a roster spot replaced by a worn out piece of crap who voluntarily left the Packers and then stunk it up where he went. WHY in hell did they not cut the 9th O Lineman? Shit! Bonehead stupidity.

I hope Jones proves me wrong about his worthlessness, but it still is a damn dumb move to sign him. Shit!!!!

I wonder if Donald Driver would have found another team in his last 2 or 3 years with the Packers.

I think we run a very special type of offense where we tell the receivers what to do and Rodgers does the rest of the job. In most other teams the receivers have to create their own plays and the QB will then try to find them.

Jones is good with slants and comeback routes, we'll ask him to run a lot of those and Rodgers will target him when he is the best option in the field, in other words we'll be fine.

But keep wearing the glasses because everything is alright in cheeseland. And our defense will rank #1 😂
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
