Completely agree that Raji should go ahead of Jerry.. no doubt, but with Raji dominating the Senior Bowl work I see no way in the world he is sitting at 9 for us. Seattle was decimated in the middle of the defense.. I personally think he makes it no further than that if he is still there then.

We shall very well see.. so many moving parts that it makes this an interesting draft..

I would love to see Seattle take Raji because that would bring Crabtree one step closer to us? Everything i have seen has Crabtree locked into Seattle.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be šŸ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I agree. Seattle will not pass on Crabtree. But will Raji be the best available player even if he is still there? If Jenkins is still around I would say no. If he makes it past Cleveland I think he's ours. Some are saying the Browns will take a DE there vs. Jenkins. Personally, I hope one steps up between the Senior Bowl and Combine that they can't pass on.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but Mel K (per the crawl on Mike&Mike this AM) currently has the Packers taking Jenkins. Also, like dh said, he's got Crabtree going to Seattle, which makes sense because they're constantly in need of a wideout.

Personally, I don't think Crabtree gets that far.. that is why I don't think he lands in Seattle.

With Pioli in charge in KC now, I think that spot is going to become the hot spot of the draft.. with needs a plenty KC will be looking to coup as many 1st day picks as possible to bolster the talent level on that team.. they have needs at every level of the defense and just about every level of the offense.

A team like Philly that is short offensive playmakers on the roster with multiple 1st round picks is an option. Al Davis's constant desire to hoard skill players (albeit that Crabtree doesn't have Davis speed preference) is another team that could leap up in front of Seattle.

Add to it, Seattle is much like the Packers in the need of talent along both lines.. while it makes sense to add Crabtree, I just don't think that marriage will happen.

All my little own opinion though..

I've changed my mind - be cool if GB could pick up jenkins in the draft and then pick up suggs as a FA. So we have someone opposite kampman.

That would be some sweet added D there ...

To be honest I really hope we dont go for Raji - we need a playmaker ... we got enough 300+ guys cough harrell cough

But the key is... do we have enough 300 pounders that can actually play?

ya true I am just paranoid that we will repeat a 1989 draft and pick up a big lug of lard like manwich - anytime I think about GB drafting someone big I think of the 'Great' manwich ... and then I go watch barry sanders replays and I cry.

Heck that year we had aikman, barry sanders, deion sanders, derrick thomas, eric metcalf, andre rison

all those guys kicked major butt

That whole thing in retrospect will be a nightmare forever etched in the minds of us Packer fans, but that's how fickle the draft process can be.

R. Pickett Dl, AJ Hawk LB, M. Jenkins DB,

!!!THE MORE BUCKEYES THE BETTER!!!!!!

Ted will probably trade down, then trade down again, and trade down one moret time, end up with a 2nd, a 3rd, 3-4ths, and 5-7th rnd picks to continue his rebuilding for the future program.

He will grab 5 O-linemen in the last 4 rnds hoping to come up with a couple of gems.

I wish buckeyepackfan was our GM. With his vision and unmatched football acumen we'd be headed for the promise land.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.
