Was a disappointment.
One hour and 15 minute wait to get a $15.00 hamburger, fries and soda.
The bright spot is an outdoor patio where you can wait if you want to spend money on drinks while you wait.
It was my understanding that 1919 was supposed to be more family affordable than Curly's Pub.

I'll give it another chance down the line but my 1st impression was not good.

From the wording of the topic, I thought this was a spam post and was gonna delete it, lol.

That sure is a helluva long wait for any food. Was the food any good?

IMO, to enjoy such a place, one can't be concerned with the high prices, after all it's not a McDonald's.

Until people stop paying, why drop the price? I paid $40 for some damn mesh shorts when I went for the Pro Shop opener last year. [nohair]

I saw on Packers.com where they are holding a job fair to hire for the restaurant. Cooks, waiters/waitress's , bus people, managers, etc.

The high prices are to be expected at such a location.

They should be better in a few weeks.

It's a shame that they cater to only "rich" people. That keeps the average fan from being able to afford to go to the Lambeau Field Atrium.
And it's not like the Packers couldn't afford to make it more family reasonable price wise.
They would get more people coming there if they did so.
I know they can do it because, like the sell outs during the season, they will always fill the place. That's another reason they can charge outrages prices for food that's just so-so.
Like was said, $40 for a pair of shorts that you could buy (without the Packer logo) for probably $15 at WalMart.
But they can gouge the fans because they CAN.
It's sad, really.

Look at how many NFL stadiums aren't full on a regular basis. Do you think their fan base is less than 70,000? Hell no! The same approach mentioned above applies there too. People are not as willing now as they once were (thanks to HD TV) to pay such crazy admission and concession prices. You take your significant other and two kids, the admission alone is going to run you a couple hundred bucks in the not so great seats. You add in $4 for cheese curds, $9 for a large brat and something like $6.75 for a soda hits you for nearly $20 for just ONE person! For the lot of you, you're hitting close to $100 on top of admission.

Lower the prices, get more asses in the buckets.
