Do they even need a third halfback? The way Lacy and Starks performed last season -- and more importantly stayed healthy -- the answer is probably not. Neither missed a game and both proved they can handle playing on third down.

I'd like to see us get some lightning to go along with all the thunder these guys bring, but the scrubs who are competing for #3 don't have that skill set. (I'm still trying to cope with the Johnathan Franklin situation.)
If Ripokowski can show he's up to par on picking up blitzes and general pass pro, he could make Kuhn expendable. But that's a big IF.
