On the Bubble: Adrian Hubbard

Every season, while the stars prepare for the season with job security, there are a select few guys who are on the “roster bubble.” These guys are at a crossroads. At one end, they could be playing professional football for a full year, making great money and doing something they love. On the other hand,

Hubbard is why they invented the phrase...looks like Tarzan plays like Jane.

I did ready he was very diligent about working out here all offseason and is expected to make that 2nd year jump but I doubt he ever makes a play with the club during a regular season game.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

I thought Hubbard was supposed to get work predominantly at ILB this preseason.

Was Zombo even close athletically to Hubbard? If he indeed does "look like Tarzan and play like Jane", then maybe he's just a false hope. But I certainly am rooting for the guy to succeed. Everything else being equal, I'd rather have the better athlete.
