The Green Bay Packers are widely regarded as one of the big favorites to hold up the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the 2015 NFL season and with good reason. They have one of the best offenses in the NFL with everybody returning and the best quarterback in the game leading it in his

Pretty good list. I will add the offensive play calling situation. Change needed to happen, but we are now going with "the devil we don't know."

Hope it works out.

The obvious ONLY answer is injury to Aaron Rodgers. Beyond that, it's only minor inconveniences or maybe a large collection of those minor inconveniences. Bad luck, of course, can always cost you, but it would take a whole lot to "derail" things.

One thing that would hurt would be if the new play caller and the game planners got too hung up on the crap of running first to set up the pass - don't do that!

Granted our offense struggled when Aaron went down in '13, but that was due to not having a viable backup. Actually, I thought Tolzien looked pretty good when throwing deep to intermediate, it's just that Mike was (as always) coaching scared, so he was in the unusual position of forcing passes short. (I always use the example of the one that was called out by JPP in the defensive huddle, before he pick 6'd it.)

If it happened this season, it just MIGHT allow Clements to actually call a game based upon genuinely sound fundamentals (if he knows any) rather than just regurgitating whatever plays Aaron instructs him to call before the game.

This of course assumes that Tolzien is ready, and I think he is.

Yes, I can't wait for one of the all time greatest QB's to go down for the year so Tolzien can play to really get our offense humming.

Honestly, someone making a comment like the above should have their site access suspended.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Not saying I want it to happen, but if it did, I wouldn't be shitting myself.

Ban me if you want. lol

Or if you have counter arguments, you could do that too.

Common sense would be that losing Rodgers would kill ANY chance of a SB win.
You lose him and there is no way Tolzien can lead the team to a championship.
AR is our best chance, period.

Hell, Joe Flacco won one. And look what happened to Aaron's team this past January.

beast (27-Aug) : I think Cowboys fans are ready to get their pitch forks and burning sticks if Jerry were to trade Micah
