NFC North Q&A: Why aren't the Packers as disliked as other perennial winners?

Because they're AWESOME.

The Packers represent a working class mindset. They don't talk shit, they're not full of bravado. They're great, but they're not the bullies trying to be grandiose in the press. They kind of do it the conservative "right way," that is popular among the working class in the midwest.

The small town David vs Goliath narrative might help to.

Plenty of people do hate us though. but plenty of people have shit taste in sports teams.

I guess when it comes to perennial winners who are we talking about?

New England -- A bunch of Super Bowls that are questionable due to cheating.

Pittsburgh -- Quite a few people respect them and their franchise, recent Super Bowls seem to have had some gift calls go their way.

Dallas -- Annoying fans. Annoying owner.

Philly -- talks alot of smack for a team that has won nothing.

San Fran -- Don't hate them as much now that Harbaugh is gone.

Indy -- Seems like the Packers where many fans respect them. Andrew Luck has a lot of fans who cheer for other teams (me included).

Indy has a detestable owner to many. Irsay has multiple drug offenses and posts crazy twitter rants.

We are unique. No owner to hate like a Jerry Jones. We don't project a corporate feel like many franchises.

Green Bay is truly the throwback jersey among the bunch. Our size is also to our advantage. Who hates the dwarf?

I couldn't care less about our perception... that is my team.
