1) I really want better depth at OT (especially LT) as I don't know what would be best if something happened to Bak, move Bulaga, Sitton or Lang over? or Tretter or Barclay? ... at one point I think Mike McCarthy said something about if having to moving Sitton to LT and someone off the bench to LG. I don't love that idea, but Mike McCarthy could be right, that it might be the best move... but I think the Packers should improve the depth so that they have a better move than that. Tretter got some time in at LT in mop up duty last year, though I don't think he looked that good doing it.
2) As soon as the police said they just wanted to talk with La'el Collins and that he's not a suspect, I said use a late round pick on him. Though I think Collins might be best at RT or OG like Barclay but still the guy has a lot of talent if he can stay out of trouble. Also it was reported that after the 3rd round, some NFL teams were strongly planning on making a move on Collins in the 4th round and some even talking about trading for the first pick in the 4th to get him, but reports came out that he was going to refuse to sign with anyone this year and wait until next year so he could be a top 2 round pick next year turned a lot of teams off, which is why he went undrafted. But I still would of used a late round pick on him if I thought he'd be clear of all that of the field stuff (which I thought he would be). Take him instead of Ringo.
3) Isaiah Battle, I haven't seen him play but usually players do a number of things wrong if they're in the Supplemental Draft. So that's a bad sign right there, and means the Packers will probably be at least two round lower than some other team if not completely out. Thompson has openly stated he doesn't like moving one years picks to another year (especially not from future years to current year) which is what the supplemental draft is. Of course, you never know... if the guys has enough potential to CLEARLY be a lock for future potential reasons, can play LT at the NFL level, and seems like his past problems can be stopped from happening in the future, and seems like he has a decent head on his shoulders, then maybe the Packers will surprise and throw a competitive bid his way. But I doubt it.
