IMO Adams has shown enough to conclude that he was worthy of having been drafted. He has not yet shown enough to conclude that he was worthy of being drafted in the second round.

IMO Abbrederis and Janis have not yet shown enough to conclude they are worthy of having been drafted.

IMO Adams has not yet shown himself worthy of the #3 roster spot. He may be #3 now, but that is only because no one else has shown themselves worthy either, and he's simply "best available."

IMO neither Abbrederis nor Janis has shown themselves worthy of a roster spot.

OTOH, IMO none of them have yet had enough time to demonstrate what, in the end, they are worthy of.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

It's pretty startling how many people think their is some conspiracy about who gets playing time and who doesn't.

Everyone says he wasn't ready, including himself, but you don't buy it? Oh ok.

I still think this type of strategy would have helped in the Seattle playoff game as it opens up the dump passes over the middle.

He has a steeper learning curve to make and people said that well before his draft into the NFL.

That being said, I do think they did waste some opportunities... the one I had in mind was kickoff returns... I know some loved RB Harris, but the guy was fairly average at best on kick off returns. In the last one or two preseason games Janis seemed to be able to catch the kicks and use great speed to return them and would of been better than Harris if he could keep control of the balls.

Also could be used on deep routes some too, might not be able to beat the CBs back yet, but if he kept running deep route after deep route, very well might of tired the CB out, and/or held a safety in place watching him so they couldn't move forward as quickly.

Nelson and Cobb are the definite 1-2. I still think Adams locks the 3rd spot up with his improvement throughout last season and with the words of McCarthy coming into OTAs. 4th and 5th position will be between Janis and Abbrederis (I think Janis comes out on top of that battle) and depending on how Montgomery comes along in training camp, he locks the 6th WR position up with his return abilities.

Isn't Abbrederis still considered a return threat or have the Packers given this to Montgomery already? Last I heard, Montgomery was dropping the ball.

Don't know if Abby has any PR ability left. It's a short list of WR/PR with rebuilt knees and successful careers as far as I can remember. I'm sure there are a few. But only a few.

Abby is a guy who is such a smart football player...gotta be room for him somewhere unless he refused to get stronger and improve on his ridiculously low 4 pumps of 225lbs. And of course, Montgomery is making the team as a 3rd rounder. Gotta keep 6, there. Hard to do, maybe, with having to keep Hundley and Tolzien and needing bodies on DL.

1) Jordy
2) RC18
3) Davante (to start season)
4) Janis (to start season)
5) Abbrederis (to start season)
6) Montgomery (to start season)

The last 4 spots, if that's how many we keep, are going to be quite fluid, I think. No reason any of them couldn't be as high as 3rd or as low as 6th.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

I agree with the list above but think it will be the bottom 3 rather than 4 that will be fluid. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Abby is 6th depending on how far along on his recovery he is.

If Monty can't field a punt, he's not gonna be PR.
