You don't have to avoid free agents to be successful. That isn't something to be proud of...especially with how our defense is and has been. When we won our last two SB's why were we there? We had a HOF QB but we had a defensive star from FA. Reggie under Wolf...biggest of all time and Woodson under Ted Thompson which was a lot less significant of a signing but the point is we don't have either SB's if we don't sign White or Woodson.

We signed Peppers last year and he actually played pretty well. Are you mad that he did that because that isn't this pollyanna way the Packers do business to you? Give me difference makers...the more the merrier and the more we hoist trophies when we have them NO MATTER HOW WE GET THEM.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

I think I have been personally attacked.

I tend to have typos at Tim e s when posting from my phone.

Hell Uffda, you should be happy, another thread where you can spend the next week telling us all how you know more than Ted!

aND BEGIN!

SIDENOTE JUST FOR UFFDA:
That's the Undisputed 2014-2015 National Champion Ohio State Buckeyes!

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

That has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. I don't start topic after topic after topic about exactly the same thing.

I'm not sure we've resigned all that many "stars"...that's pushing it. No team in the NFL isn't going to sign their superstar franchise QB to an extension.

Aaron Rodgers is the greatest of all time.... Ted Thompson is not a good GM because he doesn't sign washed up free agents... Ted Thompson 's draft picks all suck...

Avoiding free agents doesn't cause success, avoiding bad free agents does. It wouldn't hurt us to bring in some more FA to compete for positions though I'm generally against signing guys to deals like Suh got where a guy has to play at an insane level to even come near justifying their contract and if he doesn't your salary cap gets completely shit on.

Yes. I get it. We all get it. We all know how our team operates. Why do we have to see post after post about it? Why start this topic at all and then comment about Ted's genius? Why?

This conversation has been had over and over and over and over. Nobody seems to have a single problem with it until I post my counter opinion then it's me who is the broken record.

I'm not sure why you went the direction you did here, but I sure hope you never ever do it again because that was some bullshit move by you. What you're doing here has been fine. As I said NUMEROUS times and you continue to be ignorant to these words ... we need different opinions on a discussion board ... I think YOU have many GOOD POINTS ... ... ... my only problem with you is when you ruin threads by finding any skirt the line way of introducing your displeasure for Ted Thompson. We get it, no one freaking cares about reading it in every thread man!! What you fail to understand about this ... I have no clue. I'd draw a picture, but evidence recently supports you would go the most literal extreme and completely miss the boat anyway.

I'm the admin and I say you're okay and if fans dislike your opinion, they can freaking block/ignore you and move on. I am not a damn babysitter. I am a fan who wants to talk Packers! Happy cheery or pissing an groaning. I just want to talk PACKERS.

Packers offered 2011 4th round pick and I am not 100% on the conditional pick offered, if one was offered.

The Bills (and most of the NFL) figured the Packers to finish better than the Seahawks so it was obvious to take the Seahawks offer instead. I would have liked Lynch for a fourth rounder, but not two picks. Running Back's just seem to be easily replaced production wise.

And who knows if Dr. McKenzie would even have approved Marshawn with that injury.
