Ah I see. I don't disagree that of all the DC openings, the Packers have the most talent (outside maybe Tampa, but that's debatable). I just thought that Williams wasn't flat out saying that the Packers have the best talent on Defense amongst those teams needing a new DC.

Either way, I have to admit I'm loving the Capers hire more and more every second; I'm probably at the point where I feel better having Capers than Williams. The amount of good things being said about Capers, especially former players, is very positive.

Please go back and pull up my post saying Ted Thompson doesn't spend money on his coaching staff.

Please go back and pull up my post saying there wasn't young talent on The Packers squad.

Please go back and pull up my post charging Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy with creating an atmosphere that deters viable candidates from coming to Green Bay.

Please go back and pull up my post blaming The Defense on every loss The Packers had last season, thus leading to the firing of most defensive coaches.

IMHO Dom Capers is a fine coach, cudos to Ted Thompson on the hiring, will it solve all The Packers problems, only time will tell. Can Capers be Defensive Co-ordinator and convince MM to play "Not To Lose"?

MHO is that Ted Thompson will have to offer more money than most teams to pull in a top tier FA, and the probability of that happening is very little.

Please stop attacking me with false accusations.

If you're referring to my post, then all I'm "accusing" you of (actually all I wanted is your opinion on the matter given these new quotes) is claiming that other coaches don't join the Packers because they think we're going downhill.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : @AndyHermanNFL Jordy Nelson out at camp today. No word if he’s in play for one of the two open roster spots ; )
