Lacy and Starks are The Packers 1 and 2.

Contract year for Starks, so the battle will be for the #3 spot and a chance to be #2 in 2016.

With only 3 TE' s with any camp experience on the roster, I see Kuhn and Ripkowski both making the final 53.

The real battle will be for those last 2 or 3 spots on the roster between guys who show they can contribute on SP teams.

Cobb is going to get his carries from the backfield, Ted didn't pay him 10mil a year just to be a slot receiver.

The silver lining is that he doesn't have a ton of career carries. Just over 400 in the regular season at this point. For context, DeMarco Murray had 392 just last year. So hopefully his shelf life has been extended a bit.

It really wouldn't take much for one or more of the young RBs to outshine Starks. He has one more year before free agency, and undoubtedly the Packers will choose not to pay him very much, so he likely will be gone then if not this year. I would think that factors into the decision of who to keep.

I don't like Cobb lining up as a RB. I'd much rather see Montgomery tried in that role with Cobb staying in the slot and maybe getting more snaps lined up outside.

Neal has spent a year in the system and knows the check downs and blitz pick ups which gives him a big edge. If you want to play with Rodgers you sure as hell better know your assignments cold.

As for Montgomery he was drafted to be a ST ace more than anything IMHO, Cobb is the guy they like to stick in the backfield and create havoc with.
