Lacy is a lock, of course.
I'll be interested to see if Kuhn holds onto his old spot.

I think Ty Montgomery is gonna be the 3rd RB.

Neal or Crockett is who I think it'll come down to. Heck, with injuries we might need both of them.

Where'd this Ty for RB talk come from. His playmaking abilities should be useful in multiple roles but as a designated RB? No way. I hope Rajon Neal or one of the new guys step up.

I believe there were some scouts who felt he was possibly a better running back prospect than a WR. His dimensions and the way he moves with the ball have also been compared favorably to a RB.

The fact that the Packers just drafted Ripkowski complicates things, I'd say if the Packers only carry one FB on the roster they'll keep 3 RBs (exp. Lacy, Starks, Neal). If they keep both Ripkowski+Kuhn then I think its much more likely they only carry Lacy + Starks and count more on Montgomery picking up some carries.

All of the RB spots behind Lacy are up for grabs.
At FB Kuhn should be the best bet, he has experience on his side and the man is a real bull on the field. Ripkowski will battle for the spot and make the team due to Special Teams play.

The most questionable spot on the Offense will be at the TE position. [confused]

Is there any team in the league that values "versatility" more than the Packers? Ted is a tightwad, when it comes to roster spots.

Ty was thought of as a 1st round pick after his junior season as a WR. I don't think we're going to take a guy touted to be a 1st round pick at a certain position and then switch him to a different one but we do some odd things and Nerd is right about Ted Thompson loving versatility as well as roster spots.

Here's a very exciting piece on Montgomery... and maybe just maybe he can and will play some RB for us...

Cross-training in general is a good thing. We have an embarrassment of wealth at WR. I'm still expecting big things from both Janis and Abbrederis as the 4th and 5th. Montgomery makes 6, and I wouldn't rule out these supposedly good UDFAs also. I doubt we go with more than 3 TEs, so there is room for more at WR and RB. Don't rule out some kind of cross-training of Hundley also.

Lacy and Starks are The Packers 1 and 2.

Contract year for Starks, so the battle will be for the #3 spot and a chance to be #2 in 2016.

With only 3 TE' s with any camp experience on the roster, I see Kuhn and Ripkowski both making the final 53.

The real battle will be for those last 2 or 3 spots on the roster between guys who show they can contribute on SP teams.

Cobb is going to get his carries from the backfield, Ted didn't pay him 10mil a year just to be a slot receiver.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!
