Today's world, with the internet and all the "news" outlets make it impossible for any "star" athelete to get away with anything.
I bet if we could see the players from the 1960's and what some of them did, we'd see alot of similarities with today's guys.
Max Mcgee and Paul Hornung partied and slept around constantly. They were not "choir boys". And I bet many others did similar things.

So me, I choose to brush aside the crap that went on when Favre left here, and to focuss on the good times while he was here.
It bothered me at the time when it all went down, but for me holding onto the bad benefits no one.
Just my humble opinion and choice, of cours.

I think one of the worst stories about Brett that I may have missed earlier in this thread was that he impregnated a local news anchor in Green Bay and then paid a ton of hush money to keep it quiet. I believe it had something to do with him buying her a big house.

Oh, he belongs in any Hall of Fame for what he did on the field, but if character counted at all he should be barred from all of them.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Junior High? The guy had a notorious reputation for being a first class prick so unlike that "genuine" TV persona that so many of you think is the "truth".

You can try slinging mud and hating all you want that's your right but a fair majority want this to take place so we can move on and end this chapter once and for all.

I don't know that anyone disputed his on the field merits.

You're right, others got away with stuff pre-social media. Max Mcgee was drunk the night before SBI if I'm not mistaken. Eugene Robinson made some poor choices the night before a SB as well. Burt, however, lived a distinctly diffetent life than the one he got the media to portray and some of us choose not to forget that.

Tickets sure sold out fast. Looks like either a lot of people have forgiven him or a lot of people bought the maximum with hopes of reselling them. I was going to purchase one and go but it looks like I'll miss it.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
