Ron wolf said one of his biggest regrets is that he didn't get Favre more weapons.
Maybe Favre would have had more super bowl wins if Wolf would have.
Favre wasn't/isn't perfect. Anymore then any of you attacking him is perfect.
You that is without sin, cast the first stone.
He's human, with good and bad points.
I want to celebrate the memories of all the fun I got watching him.
That's my choice.

Favre was the reason why I started watching football. He was basically my childhood hero on Sundays and I loved watching him play win or lose. It didn't matter to me which team he played for but playing with the packers made me into the packer fan that i am today. I understand why some might come to hate him but for me he is still the player I respect most and the player I had the most fun watching. He truly deserves to be in the GB HOF and I can't wait to see the ceremony.

Brett was very entertaining and exciting to watch. We didn't know if he'd throw the game winning pass ... for US or THEM! Ha! We were always on the edge of our seat. I have a lot of great Packers memories and a great deal of them Brett was the leader.

My position on Favre’s enshrinement is a scholarly judgment, not an ad hominem. And would cheer if at the ceremony game, out of respect for organization.

Buckeye, to the only other to mention his [acting] accomplishments was Porforis, which was pretty funny, LOL. His first 8-9 years was obvious and great and tags him for Packer HOF. Surely, this is understood by all.

In my mind, BF2’s decent play marred by INTs and his complete inability to win a close PO game and his unprecedented propensity to single-handedly lose PO games, doesn’t take him out of the PHOF.

BF2 was hard to figure because BF1 was so great and media bias. In 2005 young Aaron Rodgers in preseason forced a ball into triple coverage for an INT, Favre said that Aaron Rodgers hadn’t “earned the right” to throw a pass like that. My mind opened to the possibility Favre’s bad play was not about him being just a dumb ole’ hick, whose determination overcame his noncerebral approach to the game; but his bad play stemmed from a sense of entitlement. When BF2 was booted, I was elated; but still felt he should be in PHOF.

Two things happened when he left:

1. His play in Minn leaves us w/ only 2 possibilities: (1) the light finally came on in season 19; or (2) he was holding back his cerebral abilities in GB; and

2. His long rumored misogynistic actions were reported by an independent media.

It is uncontroverted that BF2’s bad play was caused, not by a non thinking hick that was trying; but one suffering from acute narcissistic personality disorder.

For me, when we balance his very worthy accomplishments against the team cancer BF2 became and juxtapose that against his scum-like behavior w/ women; the very possible notion that he did unreported real bad stuff that’ll come out; and the high probability that he’ll continue to embarrass himself or the organization w/his mouth; to me makes the decision to keep him out of Packer HOF not even close.

Brett got his chance because Majkowski got injured. Brett forced himself onto the field out of his own admitted insecurity and selfishness that he did not want someone to Wally Pip him. This is something he has acknowledge, both being insecure of being replaced and that it was selfish for him to do so because at times (he cited the ankle injury from Vikings game, and thumb injury) he should have let the guy behind him.

Brett's openness is what makes him such an easy pinata for people.

Is one judging Sharper on a high horse too? Should he or Sandusky be in Packer HOF if otherwise worthy? Surely this answer is "no?!"

Many women feeling coerced by people in positions of power to perform sexually anguish in many ways like those raped. It’s mental coercion as opposed to a physical one. All three women that publicly came forward LOST THEIR JOBS. Other victims are deterred and suffer silently by the Boys Club's clear message: that’ll teach those b!tches to keep their mouths shut!

The facts known indicate Favre’s persistence in pursuing all these women stemmed from a horney hick’s inability to “take a polite hint;” I’ve never heard allegations of conscious coercion from Favre.

So, yes it’s gonna happen, at best, the PHOF will induct and 8 yr stud/8 year cancer football player, who, at best, played the part of “the creepy old guy.” At worst, GB employees or agents will poor out of the woodwork in a few years complaining that 1265 covered up Favre’s sexual pursuits. And it could get very very very worse, if one or more comes out saying Favre didn’t always take “no” for an answer.

The PHOF is not about ONLY football! HOF credential notwithstanding, on and off the field Favre proved to not be a man of class and poise. And just so you all know; there is a direct causal relationship between how the world views the Packers and the MEN of character, poise and talent that played in the 60's. It'd be ashamed if one wayward induction destroys all that.

I think Favre's insecurity explains 90% of what he does/dont do. That's why, for example, he needs the spot light, to be the gunslinger and reassurance from young girls. It's just earlier in his career, his team goals outweighed the affects of his insecurities.

Then one day he woke up in 1999/2000 and said, "I am great; I am the BMOC." He began to use his ego to sooth his insecurities. This mental house of cards collapsed in crunch time. But somehow his focus for hate on MM/TT allowed him to reach his full potential in Minny. But, the hate didn't stop the mental house of cards from collapsing at crunch time there either.

And here he goes again...

NFL hands down a stiff penalty for cheating; everyone else recognizes the delicacy of the situation. But not ole' Brett, i dont think that's cheating he says on Greta Van sestran. This time throwing the NFL under the buss and I'll bet he couldn't speak informed with regard to one fact of that situation.

He just has to have an opinion on EVERYTHING, what an embarrassment.

He was told if he wanted to come back, he would have to compete against Rodgers for the starting qb. Drama boy said "no way, I'm Brett Favre". When he was let go, he said screw you GB, I'll get you back one day. And that one day was when he signed with the Viqueens. He then showed his true colors. Kinda like your best friend dating your ex-wife, after finding out he was trying to get in her pants when you were still married..Buck him!
