I keep hearing the rumours of Adrian Peterson being moved to Dallas. I just don't understand the logic from the Cowboys end of it. That O-line proved it can create a big time runner out of a guy not thought of as a superstar going in. I just don't understand breaking the bank to bring in Peterson. To me if you want a RB why not just draft one. Make Texas' day and draft Gordon or a 2nd rounder. Is it worth the extra $10M a year for an extra 500 yards in your running game? McFadden might even be able to carry that load without Peterson or a Pick.

Or is this NFL silly season hype just to create hits from the many Cowboy fans?

I wouldn't be surprised, but how would they afford his salary? Adrian isn't likely to take a drastic pay cut to play for a team that isn't a real contender.

As a Packer fan, I say hell yeah, go ahead and remove a major impediment to the Packers getting Melvin Gordon. As a secondary Cowboy fan, however, I say no way! They would be stupid to pay what it would take to get Peterson. They would be stupider to pass on Gordon.

IMO, A.Peterson will most likely play for the team that is most willing to PAY him. If that team is Dallas , or Arizona , or the Vikings remains to be seen.
