Having read some of the post of some members in this forum, I'm glad that clearer heads appear to be (slowly) doing their jobs . Not that the off season administrative duties have been fulfilled .

And I think the change was primary because

1) It's a passing league and teams normally want to pass more than run, so attack what they're going to do more of, makes common sense if you have the players to do so.

2) The Packers were stuffing the run, the Packers offense would put up huge amount of points and the other team would say screw the run, WE NEED POINTS... and go to an all out passing attack trying to play catch-up and the Packers didn't have the penetrators to keep up with that, which between that and Mike McCarthy getting conservative with playing calling with a lead would give the other team a chance back into the game.


So the penetrating style give the Packers an edge if they're playing with the good lead (assuming the other team isn't trying to run their way back into the game), and with Rodgers on their side, normally they have the lead.

I, of course, have been as much or more against Raji than anybody else. However, what I read about him showing some dedication to improvement in the off-season, etc., along with the fairly low dollar amount, along with the Guion question marks, all make me ........ let's just say less negative about the deal.

I hope he plays decent.

The worst thing would be if he went somewhere else and did well.
