Who do you hope the Packers resign? Who do you hope they move on from?
The rest of the Packers FAs are
• CB Tramon Williams
  • NT Letroy Guion
  • NT B.J. Raji
  • FB John Kuhn
  • CB Jarrett Bush
  • ILB Jamari Lattimore
• What outside FAs (that might be cheaper) would you want GB to bring in (if any)?

bush if we can get him cheaper (never thought Id say that but like him on ST and a backup CB (which he sucks at).
williams if we can get a decent price

not sure whom is better guion or raji - one of them if decent price
kuhn if decent price still a decent goal runner and pass blocker

so ya I like em all - if I knew Ted Thompson would spend in FA Id drop a few and pick up some guys instead.

It wouldn't bother me if we didn't get any of them.

Kuhn coming back makes sense until/unless somebody beats him out; I used to like Lattimore, but he has had chances and not done much; Bush also should be signed but on a short leash - cut if somebody new can do the special teams job better; Guion yes, assuming he ain't in prison or suspended; Raji - do I even need to say it? Hell No at any price.

Tramon is gone, I guess. I wouldn't mind picking up a decent FA Corner, but Ted just don't do that sort of thing. I also would like to see a mid-range FA ILB like Bruce Carter from Dallas, but there again, damn Ted undoubtedly won't.

They all should be relatively cheap except Tramon Williams. Jarrett Bush is a good special teams player, but he's getting older so it's time to go with a younger player that hopefully can also contribute on defense since House is gone. Lattimore is a dime-a-dozen player that can be easily replaced by someone younger and likely better, imo.

I wouldn't mind all of them being resigned if the #s are right. Williams would be the biggest loss given that House is no longer an option, Kuhn would probably be the easiest to replace. Assuming Raji, Guion, Lattimore, and Bush could all be had for near vet minimum they should be signed.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he got some ridiculous offer from a team that's CB needy. He's already visiting with the Saints, which doesn't bode all that well.

I'd rather we take a look elsewhere, in that case. I know we don't have a lot of depth at the position with House gone and Hayward having been used as more of an inside man, but I'd rather take a look at a guy like Perrish Cox then, if you're going to throw some money at the CB position. Then pick another corner high in the draft.

That's good news if true, as we are exposed there without him: Hyde and Hayward aren't really true outside Corners; We might have a rookie high draft pick there; Or maybe Ted and Mike know something good about Goodson that we outsiders don't know. The only other FA names I've heard are Browner and Cox, neither of whom are all that impressive IMO.

beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
