The Jets are probably going to release WR Percy Harvin and some "experts" are saying he should want to come to Green Bay and play one year with an elite quarterback in an elite offense to cash in in a long term deal with another team.

I would like Harvin to handle the return duties and think he would be a great weapon for the Packers at the right price.

You have him returning kicks and punts giving Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Eddie Lacy a shorter field. I must admit, the mere possibility is exciting.

I'm just not sure he's worth the headache.

If the price is cheap yeah, but this probably would not increase our SuperBowl odds much.

And he did that and some of them were an immense help in the short term.
That's why this would be a tough call and I'm glad I don't have to make it.

It wouldn't upset me or anything but I would rather get someone like CJ Spiller who doesn't have a history of assaulting his coaches and teammates.

Like Brandon Marshall, I would rather each of you contract a STD than have Harvin on the Packers. For numerous reasons. If teams starving for WR like the Seahawks and the Jets can't/ don't want him, why would we? We have quality WR depth. We have an adequate return game. We need LB and DL help. Probably CB also. If Harvin played one of those, I would be more likely to overlook what a tremendous cancer he is. But he's at a position of depth and $ for the Packers.

If Harvin is a locker room issue on teams that consider him to be a #1, how well do you think he would accept being a #4 WR in Green Bay?
