I read in a different forum that Michael Rodney of Packer Update (who supposedly first reported that Shields would re-sign) says Bryan Bulaga will re-sign tonight with the Packers. I hope he's right.

That would be awesome!

And it would make sense, I'm sure he talked to other teams today to see if anyone was going to offer significantly more.

Rodney generally does not speak just for clicks, I believe him more than most.

Paying him more than 4 million is a mistake in my estimation. Bulaga is duct tape and glue. You can't trust that guy's body for nothing.

Not sure what numbers we're talking but he's a RT who is not that difficult to replace. BB is a decent player...nothing to get excited about as to him staying or going.

He's much better than any other options the Packers currently have. Protect Aaron Rodgers at all costs, even if it means overpaying a pretty good RT with injury concerns. There aren't many good tackles out there.
