I've lost trust in anything McGinn says after the Brett Favre stuff. He stated his opinion as fact numerous times. I think this is more conjecture on what Aaron Rodgers said after the Seahawks game about not being aggressive enough. The Packers being aggressive on the Field Goal that turned into a TD goes against what this one player is saying.
And I certainly would have rather had Aaron Rodgers decide the fate of the Packers than Eddie Lacy and that is no slight on Eddie.
Actually, this here is a lie "Mike Holmgren cherished the play-calling duties and never gave them up in Green Bay." Holgren had his OC calling plays during the Rams game because he was so pissed off he couldn't call the plays lol

He thinks his readers are so ignorant that he can tell them the white snow you see outside is purple and they are dumb enough to believe him. Does he think readers don't have access to information?
