McCarthy may be the best play-caller on the team but that doesn't necessarily mean the team is best with him calling plays. It's not like he's not going to be around to have a hand in offensive stuff.

Clements is old? Gosh, I can remember when he played QB for Notre Dame - what's that make me? hahahaha.

I've got to think all of them are pretty likeminded - McCarthy, Clements, Bennett. I WISH Clements was "Aaron Rodgers' stooge". That might mean more passing first to set up the run instead of what they at least talk like they want to do - run more. The key question is NOT who is calling the plays and planning the game; It is what plays they are calling and how they are planning the game.

I am not a Mike McCarthy lover like most Packer fans. Mike McCarthy has a reputation of being an idiot in big games. He may be a good play caller but he doesn't now how to call plays when a game is on the line. Maybe he should quit and become an offensive coordinator some where. I'm still so disgusted with him. It is starting to sound like Ted Thompson and other management are starting to see him for what he is too. Maybe the whole organization isn't as stupid as I thought is was. I'm sure Ted Thompson talked to Mike McCarthy about giving up his play calling. Let's not also forget MM's stupid "I wanted to run the ball 20 times in the second half" bull shit after the Seattle game. They could cut everybody on this team but as long as he is coach, we are forever doomed.

By the way McGinn is clueless. He spent half the article saying how bad Mike McCarthy is then says he shouldn't give up the play calling. Moron.

A good play caller gets the team into a rhythm, sets the temp on the field with his play calling. Mike has no concept or feel for that whatsoever.

When a HC says."offensive line could be best ever" and "'We were the best team in football when our season ended' and one player said several of his teammates still were upset with the head coach. In the week leading up to the NFC Championship Game, the player said McCarthy promised the team he would keep the pedal down if the Packers gained the lead. After the Packers led by as many as 16 points, some players think McCarthy did nothing of the sort and instead displayed a glaring lack of killer instinct.

And all these fans think he is a great coach? If it wasn't for him being the HC when the Packers won their last SB, he would not be the Packers HC. I get the feeling he likes to coach, but doesn't really care about winning the SB.

Just let it loose Mike! Let it go!

Martha Careful (17-Nov) : chop block
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : there was a very questionable job Block call that upon viewing replay was very borderline
