Did you see that last pass McNabb made to Curtis though?....

Let the conspiracy theories start. I guess there will be alot of 'set-up' stories going around. Just saw this at NFL.com

'We all know there have been penalties on EVERY play in EVERY game since the beginning of the league, it's just which ones the ref's supposedly "see" and the last play of the game proves my theory. The NFL wanted the Cards to win this game. The feel good story of "61 or so years since the last time" goes over better than the "5 times in 8 years" theme. And the REAL BIGGEST reason....just ask the bet makers who made out on this one. I'd like to hear some stats on how many bookies had to pay out on this game rather than get paid. Thank You NFL, thanks so much for the pride and dignity you use in overseeing your league. And I think I've finally come to the realization that they choose, to a certain degree, who wins. It's right in front of all of our eyes.'

Grats to the Cards though, it was a hard-fought battle. Maybe they got a bid lucky on that no-call, but still. Great job.

I've been pulling for Warner and the Cards but never gave them much of a chance of getting in. I'm glad they made it.

First off, I think there may be some conspiracies in all pro sports.

But, I've seen ALOT worse non-PI calls. To me, it looked like the defender was just trying to reach for the WR after he slipped, causing Curtis to slip himself. Could've gone either way.

Curtis had a shot at the ball. And FAIL'd. Too bad, so sad. Same thing I said about Rice of the Vikings this past year. A defender had his hands on Rice, and Rice had his hands on the ball, but didn't bring it in. That play could've been called a PI, but wasn't. I said too bad, so sad. If Rice brought the ball in, it wouldn't have mattered. And the same to Curtis.

Not to mention, there were 2 other opportunities the Iggles had to convert, but they didn't. Dropped pass by #10 and the misfire to Basket. Both, if executed, would have converted. Oh well. That's the way of the game.

Curtis had the ball in his hands......he SHOULD have caught it.
As far as PI......like was alreay said......I have seen alot worse then that.
I didn't even thing it WAS PI in my view.

On topic.. Congrats to the Cards. My grandfather and uncle live down in Phoenix, so I've always had a soft spot.. Kinda.

Ok, only this year. lol But, either way, like promised, I would cheer for either 'bird', be it the Eagles or the Cardinals, in the Super Bowl.

Now that it is decided, I'm a Cards fan for a few weeks.

Thats what makes the game great to me. This was never expected to happen.

I'm rooting for the Cards but wanted the Eagles to win . That was blatant PI on that play and was a game changer, if it was on any of our teams we'd feel that it was a terrible "no call". That being said, go Cards please don't allow the steelers and their shithead fans to win their 6th superbowl, they don't deserve it.

Also how about that BS "phantom" roughing the kicker call on the Ravens in the AFCCG? terrible, just terrible.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
