What I don't see with the ST blunders this year is any consistency. We had mishandled snap, pressure up the middle, pressure from outside, low long kicks, bad punts, simple missed kicks. So the question is, are they just not teaching the what they are suppose to do, or are the players just making mistakes. If it is just the players making mistakes is a coaching change really going to make a difference, it would that just be a change for appearance sake.
Other option would be, was the level of talent available on ST part of the problem. They changed at the end and put Sitton and Lang on the FG team. On occasion both Peppers and Matthews were on FG coverage team but I don't recall seeing them doing that at the end. If that is the case, than does the blame fall on McCarthy and Capers for not letting Slocum have access to the better talent on the team.
