If your looking for any electronics now is the time to buy.

Circuit City would like to thank all of the customers who have shopped with us over the past 60 years. Unfortunately, we announced on January 16, 2009, that we are going out of business

Liquidators will start arriving in our 567 stores across the U.S. over the weekend, and closing sales will start as early as Saturday, January 17. Closing sales will run as long as it takes to sell existing inventory, but are expected to wrap up by the end of March. When the liquidation sales are completed, the stores will be closed.

Time for me to waste my tax refund lol.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Wait around a little this year.. wait til a couple department stores fall.

This year I expect several big chains to fall... going to get worse before it gets better. IMO.

BTW... buyer beware from the little I read yesterday.. all sales final and questionable whether you will be able to purchase extended warranties.

Thats too bad. This is exactly why I have been working tons of overtime lately. No ones job is safe.

Also, in Green Bay, the Cub Foods stores are closing down in March.

We went to Circuit City today. Wow, it was a pain in the ass to find a parking spot and people were literally racing to get into any open spot. People were parked right up next to the freaking doors! Fire lane? Nah, PARKING LANE!

They didn't have crap for a deals either. 10 - 20 percent off at best. I'll wait another week or two then hit them up again when they are desperate to deplete their shelves. 🙂
