Hi - Signed Up Because I Am Sad, lol

Hey guys, long time creeper but first time I have signed up. I am really sad about this loss and needed an outlet for my thoughts. I posted a topic in the main GB Talk room. Anyway, do not be too hard on me, lol.

I am a life long Packers fan, lived in a part of the country with no NFL team but my dad liked the Packers from the Lambeau days so I inherited them in the late 80s, thank god he was not a Browns fan!

I found this site probably 5 or 6 years ago through google and find it to be a more level headed and intense version of some other sites I will not mention.

As a 50+ year Packer fan, I too was very excited about this years team. The year started off slow and with doubts, yet they,"R-E-L-A-X-E-D" and became an elite team. We enjoyed the victories and suffered through the defeats. The playoff victory over the Cowboys boosted our hopes to yet another step.

They say that it's a game of inches, and it is true, but it is also a game of emotions as well . As fans we must not allow this seasons ending to blind us to the fact that the Packers had a great season and will begin the next season that much better a team. Remember that we are"ALL" human and make mistakes. Let us forgive and trust that lessons were learned. Blaming this player or that call does nothing but delay the healing that many need . Let us celebrate the good things that Packers achieved this season and look forward to the 2015 Draft .
