Did you not see Peppers motioning for Barnett to get down? I'm sure the bench was doing the same thing. McCarthy coaches to be a good sport, no fire, no killer instinct. Bad coaching. Ha Ha had a brain fart, don't hold him responsible personally, he had a pretty damn good rookie campaign.

McCarthy is soft, and it's reflected in his players.

So McCarthy leads a team that dominates for 50+ minutes and all blame falls on him...but haha screwing an easy break up that would have won the game, and he gets a pass? I'm not saying run haha out of town...just pointing out the double standards in out assessments

Another sickening thought that just popped in my head is how much does this game fuel Seattle going forward as a franchise? Knew they weren't going away anytime soon but now who knows.

TEAM
fail.

MENTAL fail.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

What do you really think you're teaching a 20something year old professional 6 months into the season with 2 minutes left in the game. Are they going to do some catching drills with the jugs machine on the sideline for Bostic?

Slocum's unit was up and down, but mostly good.

Seven blocked kicks this year. Seven. And Crosby's kick late in the fourth quarter was almost blocked as well.

This, on top of all the other special teams blunders this year.

I'm not saying that he is for sure getting fired. But to completely dismiss it as a possibility/and to say firing him would be a "knee jerk" reaction is a bit irrational.
