Wet, Cold, and Rainy will be the weather conditions as the Packers / Seahawks meet for the NFC Championship game in Seattle. IMO, the game will hinge upon turnovers. I see Clinton-Dix having his finest day this season. I predict that he will tip one pass for an interception by Tramon Williams and clean pick another. Julius Peppers will also have a fine day with 11/2 sacks as great pressure will be put upon the Seattle QB . Lynch will be held to less than 80 yards rushing.

Eddie "THE TANK" Lacy will be the STAR of the game with 3 TD's and 187 yards rushing. Much credit will be due to the play of the O-Line as they open the gaps for a big day on the ground. A.Rodgers will have a good, but not great day as slippery conditions and Seattle's pass rush make for a tough fought game .

Seattle - 23

Green Bay - 27

GO PACK GO !!

Something is wrong.
Ordinarily I'm wringing my hands with worry days before a Packers game, but I'm not the least bit anxious this week.
It's like I'm in a whole other zone. I feel relaxed and that feels good.

Maybe something is right.

Packers playing with "house money" No way do they win this game, according to most experts!

Being relaxed and able to enjoy the upset might keep u that way in the future_

I feel more strange thinking about these matches more than normal. I keep hearing about Rodgers leg, but he didn't look too bad finishing the last game, and people saying they're going to make Rodgers move a lot like they did in week one, but a lot of that running around happen a key moment in the game... after Bulaga got hurt less than 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter and Sherrod was left at RT for the next 40 minutes struggling to block people.

Not only is Bulaga back, but Sherrod is gone and that have Tretter working at back-up LT (he or Lang will be the back-up at RT now). But less running around and remember Lacy didn't connect with the OL until week 5, well after week 1 and Cobb was out of it until week 4, reportedly maybe distracted at first about being in a contract year, no longer distracted by it and the rookies played like rookies (other than maybe Linsey at Center) but Adams and Rodgers were non-factors in the passing game.

And while the Seahawks defense is still largely intact, they lost DT Brandon Mebane and DT Jordan Hill... lucky for them they former Vikings Kevin Williams decided to sign with them (turning down a larger offer from the Patriots). But now they're down to 3 DTs (I think) though they might have some DEs that can play DT. But if you can wear down their starting DTs, then you might be able to run on them. I know while with the Vikings it looked like Williams could be wore down at times, though the other starter is 6'7" Tony McDaniel and he does a great job of using his length to keep OL off of him. So I don't know if they'll be able to run it or not, but here is hoping.

On the other side of the ball, the Packers had most trouble with WR Harvin and TE Millar in the passing game week 1, but they won't have to worry about them this week as Harvin is with the Jets and Millar is on IR. And their next up and coming speeders Paul Richardson also ended up on the IR. Though you shouldn't sleep on their starters Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin but they seem more consistently good than stand out. Also need to watch out for RB, even I it's a play action the ball can still be passed to the RB. Also TE Luke Willson, he's very fast and with the success of their running game he's getting some free runs into open routes because of the success of play action. And finally Ricardo Lockette... while he hasn't put up big numbers during the season, Seahawks like using a speed guys in certain roles and with Harvin and Richardson out, they might turn back to Lockette who of those playing this time around, had the longest pass against the Packers in week 1 (Harvin had longer but he's not playing).

I'm wondering do the Packers put 8 into the box? I think the Seahawks are used to that... and try to go man to man on the outsides and tell them just don't get burned deep. High risk, but if they don't get burned and they're able to stop the running game, might be high reward too.

I seriously doubt this, but I just enjoy throwing a wild idea out there from time to time... a 3-5 formation with 3 down linemen and 5 LBers. With Perry, Matthews, Barrington, Neal and Peppers as the LBers. One of them is watching the TE in case he releases, but Neal or Peppers could join the D line and give it a 4-4 look even.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason

Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
