Routinely we hear about teams practicing in the elements of which they are to play. That being said, Aaron Rodgers needs to practice with his calf injury so he can learn HOW to play with the limitation.

T.J. Lang and Randall Cobb stated offensive communication issues.

Mike McCarthy said that practices are much better with Aaron out there.

A great coach once said.

Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect.

Vince Lombardi wrote:

Aaron needs to be practicing and it's not like he's going to be at risk since quarterbacks are already off limits anyhow. If he doesn't practice until Thursday again, the Packers reduce their slim chances exponentially.

Gimpy leg or not, Aaron was off on all those overthrows. Those are easy completions if he practiced more. No doubt about that.

That's a great point. This would have been a blowout under normal circumstances.

Doubt he needs practice going in this week. It was two weeks since he had last played. Rust was in the second period, all tho after half time it was all cylinder kicking.

I see it differently.
I don't think practice had anything to do with it.
I think Rodgers was kind of afraid to push his limits in the first half for fear of making his injured leg worse.
I think he kind of said "the heck with it" and let it all hang out on the 2nd half.
He's one tough dude!

I think the Seahawks will have better pressure and that might not work as well next week.

Though it looked like Sherman got beat by the Panthers 6'5" WR on a deep jump ball in the end zone... might not hurt if all else fails to try a TE on Sherman. Quarless and R. Rodgers both did line up as WRs some against the Cowboys (Rodgers scored his TD coming out of the slot position and Quarless was wide out on that play, with Cobb in the back field).

From the sounds of what MM said, Janis is too raw still to put out there, but I still think at some point he could be used as a surprise speed weapon, though sounds like it's not going to happen this game.

I agree. He has got to practice.
1. to find his limitations and learn to play with them
2. so everyone is on the same page
3. to keep the rust off

Then they All (including MM) have to play this game like there is no tomorrow.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
