CALF: Rodgers didn’t participate in the Packers first practice of the weekend. He is getting treatment for his twice-injured left calf.
“It’s going all right. The calf is slowly progressing,” said Rodgers. “I wasn’t out there today, but we’re right where we need to be in getting ready to hopefully get on the field next week.”
Packers backups Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien got the work today, but that presents no concern for Rodgers – not even with rookie center Corey Linsley.
“Not at all. Those guys are a great group, they’ve had a great season,” said Rodgers. “They did a good job of limiting the sacks down the stretch, and Corey’s had a great year. I’m not worried about him at all. He’s had a great season.”
