Seahawks Defense IS that good.

Seahawks Offense is not as good as the Packers offense.

If we can shut down their running game (including Wilson scrambling) we can win, because their passing game is meh (averaging 173 yds/game passing at home).

From another thread...

Somehow, Seattle has done a more impressive job against the run than the Packers because either Seattle played better run offense's or the Packers blew everyone out so the running game was tossed.

Rodgers and our receivers have made it so we can probably get away with it more so than the Seahawks can but I think if we ever did gravitate toward that end of the spectrum on a consistent basis we could be even more potent.

The one thing that gives me some hope of beating Seattle is that the Cowboys went up to Seattle and spanked them, but they did it by bullying the bully. We have the components to do the same, but McCarthy can't play pussy ball like he did week 1. I think our offensive line is much improved from week thanks to Lindsley solidifying the center position and Bulaga back in form.

Our run game has improved drastically since week 1. It is like light and day. We have to believe our ability and execute.

Dallas had a few bumps along the way getting to where they are but nothing more than any other team. We are 8-0 at home but they are 8-0 on the road. Yeah they have to get by Detroit but I think that's at least as easy as everyone else has us getting by Dallas.

I just don't know if I should root for Dallas or Detroit. If Dallas wins Seattle gets Carolina or Arizona and I think Seattle wins that game easily and we play a tough Dallas team. If Detroit wins they go to Seattle and probably get beat at least as easily as Carolina or Arizona would but we get an easier matchup in our first game. I really do not like Dallas though so since it seems the Seahawks are going to get an easy game no matter what and if we win we will go to Seattle no matter what I will root for Detroit.

Of course If I am writing the script it would go like this. Dallas and Arizona win this weekend. We beat Dallas and Arizona beats Seattle next weekend and we beat the Cardinals in Lambeau for the NFCC. That's how I would write it.

dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
