Oh, that. [puke]

To the question posed in the subject title... Look who Lavar Arrington thinks is going where for the NFC Playoffs.

The Packers played four teams that are going to be in the playoffs.

Patriots, Lions, Seahawks, Panthers/Falcons.

They beat the Patriots and both Panthers and Falcons, of which only one WILL be in the playoffs.

Lost @Seahawks in Week 1.
Lost @Lions in Week 3.
Won vs Patriots in Week 13.
Won vs Panthers Week 7.
Won vs Falcons Week 14.

That means they were 2 - 2 versus playoff teams.

I give them more credit for beating the Patriots late in the season than I do a knock for losing to the Seahawks.

Beat Detroit in Week 17, and we:

1) Win the Division (kind of a big whoop)
2) Get a first round bye as either the #1 seed (if Seattle loses) or the #2 seed (more likely).
3) Will have home field for the Division championship (which would likely be Dallas visiting)
4) Would have to travel to Seattle for the NFC Championship but host a home game for everybody else

C-O-N-T-E-N-D-E-R-S, still

That said, Dallas would be a very difficult game, even at home. Followed by Seattle at Seattle. Going to be a rough road to get to the SB.

But first we have to beat Detroit, or we're likely to be the #6 seed...

Dallas is the one team that can beat Seattle in Seattle because they already did it. Instead, Seattle is going to get to play Arizona or Atlanta/Carolina. So, basically TWO BYE weeks for Seattle before they'd play us. Meanwhile, we get Dallas and then Seattle. Thanks, Jordy...Thanks, Aaron...Thanks, MM. Heckuva job in Buffalo. You ended your season at Orchard Park but you still have fans believing it isn't over.

Dallas, scratch that, Romo, is synonymous with not winning in the playoffs. Detroit just seems wholly unimpressive on O to me. Stafford is erratic. Bush is healthy which may make a big difference for them.

Dez and Megatron should be fun to watch.

If Detroit wins they go to Seattle, which I like better than Atlanta/Carolina or Arizona heading out there. I would love for Detroit to win. I live in Dallas and Cowboys fans are pretty pitiful... they lack knowledge of the game and are a fairweather group if I've ever seen one. Worst fans of anywhere I've lived.

Would Detroit have any shot in Seattle? That D vs. Lynch would be fun to watch. Golden Tate would have an edge about him headed back to Seattle but Tate and Calvin aren't enough, I don't think. I guess you could put Bush in there, too. I like Detroit's chances more than I'd like ours.
