I'm really glad the 49ers are OUT of the playoffs. That team is still scary good IF they only had the good sense to turn Kaepernick loose and let him run. Even tonight, it looked like they really didn't want him running, but he at least took off when his receivers were covered. If I was a fan on a Niner forum, I'd be going crazy saying they should let him run more. The nightmare scenario would have been if they got into the playoffs, played the Packers at some point, and suddenly woke up and let Kaepernick do what he can do better than anybody - run from the QB position.
