Aaron had ALL DAY to throw back there, not just on that one play either.

Kudos to that unit. Looks like our line is set for the forseeable future. Good to see.

I think a lot of the time Rodgers had to throw had a lot to do with the way NE was playing him. They were dropping a lot of guys into coverage and were also rushing him kind of hesitantly instead of balls to the wall. I think they were afraid to get after him too aggressively because they wanted to keep him in the pocket because he's so dangerous running AND throwing outside. They have a good secondary so it's not a bad gameplan but it makes their pass rush look worse than it is. That being said the o-line was the shit today, great job all around.

I agree with Steve...the broadcast pointed out the "spy" NE was using on some plays. The O-Line deserves tons of credit, but it was aided by the way NE was playing up front.

I was reading that Rodgers was having tonnes of time, I was surprised how we ran the final series before the 2 minute warning that won us the game. Granted Cobb made the catch to seal the win, but with that time I was surprised we didn't try to pass for the first down. It was all for naught, but could of bit us in the ass if we had to punt.

There of course is a risk in passing by costing yourself 20 seconds and a 2 minute warning as a timeout...but you have the ball in the hands of your best player who could also run if needed. It's easy to applaud since it worked, but it made sense even at the time.

It all worked out, but I swear I drank a beer in those 3 downs.
