According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the working relationship between head coach Sean Payton and defensive coordinator rob Ryan “has been rapidly deteriorating” over the course of this season, and that the two men “strongly dislike each other.”

Just a thought.

Mike and Dom's new philosophical experiment ("let teams run on us as much as they want, passing is what wins in today's NFL") hasn't cost us the season yet, so I guess Dom's job isn't technically on the line.

Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Rob Ryan wouldn't be consider Packer People due to his "look at me" attitude. The Packers organization seems to steer clear of those types.

Since we're on the subject... which would you rather have?

Rob Ryan or Rex Ryan?

Rex has had more success but I think that's largely to do with the talent on the teams that hired him, having or getting talented DL up front... while Rob's teams have mostly been horrible at getting DL to help the scheme. And Rex seems more look at me type where Rob has gone under the radar at times.

I think Capers has his fault, but I'm not sure he's a bad scheme guy to have. I think his personality rubs some people the wrong way and he doesn't verbally / physically pump up the guys, going crazy like some D coaches do...

But I think it's more about the players than the scheme. Need to get better at DL and ILB. Though I do question some of the position coaches (and maybe Capers has to do with this too), some positions the players just haven't seemed to develop that much...

Capers drives me mad, but the question always is who is out there that is available that wants to come to Green Bay? I don't follow college enough.

Any thoughts Lovie might get fired? Perhaps it would be weird, but I would have no heartache with him.

Rex is willing to cut his hair and lose some weight and Rob wasn't... that's basically the only difference. Rex has done well when his GM has done well, Rob hasn't had a good GM.

Rex wouldn't stop blitzing against the Packers and got burned by Rodgers (which most blitzing teams do). Rob watched the tape and was willing to stop blitzing after figuring out Rodgers does great against the blitz.

Zero2Cool (17-Nov) : Bears get OL fixed amd we might have a problem
buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : Pretty sure they already have scouting reports on guys who aren't even starting for their college team. The future is now for me.
buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : I tend to let Gute and Co. Worry about the future.
beast (17-Nov) : That's great news and Packers need to keep upgrading their OL, DL and DBs this off-season, so missing one guy doesn't kill them

buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : Jaire and Evans Williams are both ACTIVE! Good news.
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : The badgers really need to change the whole offensive scheme. No draws no screens plus the quarterback is marginal
Cheesey (17-Nov) : If the Badgers had a decent QB, they would have won. The guy can't hit a wide open receiver
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : chop block
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : there was a very questionable job Block call that upon viewing replay was very borderline
