Julius Peppers has done more in this portion of the season than I was expecting for an entire season.

Mass youth has its benefits. Drafting and developing, the Packers have proved, sustains a contender. Yet a voice of reason — a Canton-worthy voice — sustains an edge.

Somebody had to step up and be a leader on the defense.
Getting a grizzled aging veteran has been a good thing for the Packers.

Adding Julius Peppers to this team unquestionably made it better. Great pick up.
