Rookie Corey Linsley for the Pro Bowl? Aaron Rodgers says so

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Corey Linsley, like any good NFL rookie, does as he's told.

That was evident Wednesday in the Green Bay Packers' locker room, where he was about to share the story of the apology letter he wrote — apparently to his fellow offensive linemen — that quarterback Aaron Rodgers referenced Tuesday on his radio show.

But first, the Packers center had to check with guard T.J.Lang to see if it was OK.

A minute later, Linsley returned.

Would you look at that? Draft a guy who's played center in college, leave him at center in the pros and he does well! Never would have saw that coming!

When the season started I was nervous that Rodgers was going to be taking shots in the mug because of Linsley's inexperience. More than pleasantly surprised by his performance thus far this season.

My wife is a giant Ohio State fan (grew up in Cleveland) so I am subject to watching the games on Saturdays every season (I don't mind it so much because I love the B1G Conference). I was THRILLED when they drafted Linsley because I thought he would be groomed into a stud offensive lineman for the Packers. However, I didn't think he would have such an impact so early in his professional career. It's a good thing he has Sitton and Lang to play in between because I am sure that has helped with his quick progression.

Linsley gets 1-2 pancake blocks a game which is really rare to see along the Packers offensive line...

I don't understand this at all. How can he be good? After all, didn't Aaron have to holler at him once?

oh didnt even realize he was that good - thought he was just ok; but really havnt heard his name much nor really followed his play - just thought since tretter went down he's all we had.
